About the Backgammon Association of BiH
The Backgammon Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tavla Savez BiH) is the official national governing body for the sport of backgammon in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our mission is to develop and promote backgammon throughout the country, organize competitive tournaments at all levels, and represent BiH in international backgammon competitions.
Backgammon, locally known as tavla, has a long tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our association currently unites clubs from Mostar, Sarajevo, Travnik, Konjic, Bihać, Brčko, Fojnica, Donji Vakuf, Jablanica and other cities, with over 90 registered competitive players on the official ranking list.
We organize both team and individual championships, league competitions, and open tournaments throughout the year. Results are tracked live on Challonge and our official player rankings are updated after every tournament.
